The Struggles of climbing in low elo
So I started playing league at the end of season 2 around when TPA won worlds. I was pretty trash at the time but around season 4 I decided that I'd never played a game of ranked in my life so I'd try to see how far I could get in my placement and I didnt intend to climb any further I remember I got to like silver 1 and just stopped there, during seasons 5 and 6 I didnt play any ranked so I was considered "bronze". Then in season 7 I decided I was gonna actually try in ranked, finish my placements and get bronze fucking 4, I end up climbing to silver 3 and was pretty satisfied at the end of the season. I picked it up in s8 and got placed in bronze 1, it's now been like 9 months since then and I've just reached silver 3, even though I've been doing super well in my games and attempting to carry my team It's super frustrating trying to climb in an elo where 50% of NA is. It does sorta of bother me that I didnt play ranked for two seasons and am considered bronze even when I didnt play a fucking game of ranked. I've tried everything, every position am have gotten a lot better this season but its so fucking hard even when people say "oh support is the best way to raise elo". I try next game I had to go full ap janna because my support was a toxic pubescent kid who went like 1-14. Climbing elo at silver is like trying to get laid, it won't happen because you're playing league of legends.
