Prestige Edition Skins - Quality Check.

Hello,

I just wanted to know why Prestige skins cost so much when they are mainly re-colored skins? It's labeled as "new particles, recall, etc..." though they are really only satisfying the 1820rp skin range criterion. I'm not overly complaining about the price itself since I am fortunate enough to be able to purchase them or earn them from event tokens. However, the point I'm arguing is that they don't feel like they are worth $150 (AUD).

For example, Spirit Gaurd Udyr, a $35 (AUD) skin, offers more than the prestige skins do, for $120 (AUD) less... Spirit Gaurd Udyr evolves as he levels up, showing a new "form" when an ability is maxed out, he also has a massive visual upgrade. DJ Sona can also change form and plays different songs accordingly. Miss Fortune can change color (I don't play MF so I'm not 100% sure what it does), Elementalist Lux allows the user to chose elements to change form.

The issue I have is that these skins [Ultimate Skins] are much cheaper, easier to obtain, AND offer more than the Prestige line. Prestige skins are essentially glorified chromas.

So I guess my question for a Riot Member is: What makes it a Prestige Skin, and why do they offer less than $35 Skins? (Objectively speaking).

My question for the players: Are you satisfied with the quality of the prestige skins so far?

*$150 is roughly the cost (AUD) to purchase 100 Prestige Tokens from the event bundles.

Leave thoughts on their quality below.

Thank you,

Dr. Phil

Don't want them, don't buy them. That simple.

I mean, you can get all of the prestige skins for 10€ each So if they're close to a legendary skin, i'd say that's pretty good
