Yea thats how it feels buddy... It is a popularity contest. The whole system is a joke, people will report you just bc you killed them too much. I remember when I got chat restricted and lost all my honor (the reason why i was so pissed and send a ticket in.. oh check your honor by the way, you just dropped to 0 and get no more keys or rewards for a while) I sent the ticket in and asked what did I do wrong, I never EVER offend anyone, I never curse. I argue sometimes but never take it to the next level like some ppl who like to just drop name bombs on you. (trash, useless, uninstall etc..)
That game I argued with a premade group I got unlucky to group with and got mass reported. So then the riot rep tells me "yea you didnt say anything that was too harsh here, but youve been reported 3 times before this last month). Which blew my mind bc he basically shared a little secret about the system. It keeps tally of your reports to see if it should ban you. That game I literally said nothing wrong, so the system showed me a convo from a previous game earlier that week where I said "why are you such a dick dude" "fuck off, youre the one who's usless" to some guy who was calling all our teammates "useless".
So that shows you how the system works and uses bs to justify itself. To hide the truth that its just programmed to see if youre using bad words and if enough people are bothered enough to report you. Now when I see these people flaming each other I just stay out of it so I dont get caught in arguments again bc I know people are rdy to just press that report button. And if they flame me, I just mute them and announce it.. "look Im done arguing, im muting now". I was honor 4 before this happened, used to get a key fragment almost every time i logged in. Im back to honor 1 after like 2 months of this happening and just let the trolls be trolls now, i dont even care about bans, but losing your honor over some dickhead in a chat that starts flaming you or other people isnt worth the argument. But the real issue is people will literally report you if youre just not having a good game. Thats why the system is broken. Oh that guy is 1/7/1 REPORT! oh "ure fucking usless.... what are u doing???? ping? ping? ping?... /all report this dude". Thats LoL now a days for ya.
