What's the point of having a Gameplay+ sub-boards?

Aside the fact that I'm unable to downvote threads & comments. So the next time someone stupidly makes a "buff Ahri" thread with either absolutely 0 context or really shitty reasons like "I just lost as Ahri so she needs one", I'm forced to agree with this?

Contrary to popular belief you can disagree with something without downvoting it.

The gameplay+ board is meant for serious discussion with a more in-dept focus than the normal gameplay boards. I think the moderators will delete every post not meeting those criteria.

Edit: I was sorta right. Posts on the gameplay+ boards have to be approved first before they get posted.

Should've just make it so the downvote can not go below 0 and call it a day.

At least it kills the downvote train witchhunt and also won't cause a new problem of being forced to see blatantly stupid posts and comments being upvoted because there is no way to downvote their BS.

The thing is, if someone makes a "shitty Ahri thread with 0 context or really shitty reasons", it probably won't get approved by the mods.

If it has 0 context and shitty reasons it won't go past the thread creation monitoring.

Also, upvotes and downvotes aren't meant for you to take a shot at someone's opinion you disagree with. Well thought and constructed opinions shouldn't get downvoted, even if you disagree with them.

Prevents downvote spam abuse, where someone's opinion regardless if wrong or right will not get downvoted to oblivion because it might be a touchy subject (like a someone's champion for example).

But low quality posts with no contextual explanation/reasoning of improvement of the issue that they are discussing will not go through, because each post is looked over by a certain number of people (moderators I think) to be able to be posted.
