Swain is exactly what I don't want from a Swain rework.

Edit: his kit is...aight I guess. Everything being red isn't helping his edgelordness though. What was wrong with the green motif?

Double edit: his ult reads as follows: Swain frees the demon within for 12 seconds (blah blah ability numbers healing ect) After draining 150 health, Swain gains the ability to cast Demonflare. Riot who let an angsty teen write this stuff?

I could have done without the whole soul-eating business, that's the part that makes it feel excessively edgelordy to me. There was nothing wrong with the idea of a raven feeding on carrion from the battlefield. I'm also not fond of the black-red effects, but I can sort of forgive that for being the thematic colors of Noxians these days (See: Sion). Green is Zaun's color.

I'm OK with his personality, he's not really an edgelord in character. He's very...condescending. It's if he's saying "It's already obvious how this battle will end, and you're just too stupid to see it." I just really wish his kit played into the idea of a tactical genius, rather than a shotgun mage. There's nothing about getting into your enemy's face and blowing them up that screams "tactical mastermind." It just feels like an excessively brainless design for a character who is supposed to be the smartest guy on the field.

I'm assuming from his interactions that after he was crippled, he got his new powers after capturing a demon, which explains the skill descriptions.

Red color seems more appropriate for the grand general of noxus and doesn't devalue his tyrant skin.

I don't really get edgelord vibes from this one.

I hate the look of the "rework" which is really just riot deleting an old champ and putting in a new one. They didn't even pretend to try and keep anything people loved about the champ this time. Just a quick delete and gfys

Just because YOU dont like something and call it edgy doesn't mean it is actually edgy.

You know what the cool thing about all this is despite you not liking it the changes ARE going through and you are just gonna have to deal with it.
