The new Ranked is Broken

why if my MMR is s3 do I get placed in iron3 the old system was better because even if you lost all 10 you could get placed in silver like I did last year. This doesn't make sense to me. Also if I'm ranked iron in my promos but I'm iron so it makes no sense if I have to play 2 divisions up how can I rank up. By the time I make it to silver, my mmr would have to be gold or higher. can someone please explain the major fuck up that is the new ranked. if your gold you can’t play with b1 players so if i’m iron how am i playing vs s1 players makes no sense smh.
