Hello league commmunity, recently my friends started sharing these links to try to get "free" rp. As i always do, I investigated this claim, but could not find anything to prove or disprove this as a scam or as a real event from riot games. I figured that i should ask someone who actually knows about this, as if this is a new scam, hopefully it can be taken down.
riot NEVER EVER EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR gives away free RP or free skins or free anything. there's LITTERALLY a PSA Scams taking it's round again sticky note discussing LITTERALLY this. it's purely fake every time. and plus, those kinds of scams right there put you in a infinite loop of surveys and adware and attempt to gain your personal information.

As a reminder to all - never click on links that are suspicious or do not appear to be a known Riot website. Personally, if a link isn't riotgames.com ; leagueoflegends.com ; or lolesports.com I will not click it and I will go find the information I was looking for in some other way. It's better to go without whatever funny meme/image/free RP you expected than it is to potentially lose your account and hard work.
its very easy to see and should be flat out obvious, on top of that, if it's not a specific URL adress it's fake. i forgot where i found that list of URL domains that they own. gimme a minute
EDIT: Any promotions or events ran will be announced and confirmed by Riot -- www.riotgames.com, www.leagueoflegends.com, or www.lolesports.com.

Definitely a scam.
Thanks for the help, my friends were just about to "get" the rp, so I'd decided to look into it for them, since I'd thought it was fishy
