Sometimes i just can't report people

I just finished a match where someone was running it down mid on the enemy team. Cool im down to report the guy, its 10 minutes in and hes just running down mid feeding us. As we can clearly see, its a 5v4 you guys are actually getting your match ruined, however...

-You guys won't let us push and end -You keep trying to stop us from ending the game as fast as possible -You guys are denying the surrender vote at 20 minutes

why the FUCK should i report somebody if you are going to do everything in your power to waste my time and continue trying to win the match despite the troll. Someone who is trolling or committing acts of grief intentionally are doing this because they want to make the team they are on lose by any means necessary.

If that person was that big of a problem you wouldn't continue trying to win with filth like that on your team. by continuing trying to win the match you are telling me that we as a solid team are no match for you and the troll and thus they aren't an issue that needs to be dealt with.

Maybe no one will report that player, and next time he will be qued up on your team, and can run it down mid for you.

Thats considered giving up, which is reportable in its own right. Granted, you might not want to sit there and "waste time" but after a certain point he's just proxying, worth less gold than a minion wave. It's a game and the purpose is to have fun. Personally, I dislike having a feeding troll on my team, but it can still be useful, because the enemy teams tend to chase the feeder to get the gold he offers, leaving them more open. Plus, he could actually end up being useful by splitting and staying top like a salty saltine, while we teamfight mid and keep you guys busy. Find the upside in every situation.

Because at a certain point, we still want to play.

Going AFK on the circle because some child chose to run it down mid is just as unhelpful and warrants punishment on its own.

Grab a mejais, head down mid lane to kill the troll, then brag in /all chat about how many stacks you have. The enemy team will tilt off the face of the earth and either spend the next 5 minutes typing angrily to you, or chasing you around the map trying to kill you while your team ends the game.
