What if there was incentive to play roles that people aren't queuing up for?

What if Riot gave out small BE "prizes" for players who queued up for roles that are currently in demand? The less players get autofilled, the better --- right? Obviously this would only work in Normals and only as a solo/duo queue (othereise its easily abused by premades and we don't want people playing their bad roles in ranked If we can help it) but any improvement to the system is a good improvement to the system, right?

I never understood why they didn't do this especially after they added quests. Something like: "Win 3 games as a support"

You have to be careful here. It would be great to reward players for playing the less played roles, but if the reward is too great it can feel like a punishment for anyone who does not want to play those roles.

It's a very fine line, but it could probably be done.

People that already play the role then get free stuff for doing what a normal player would do. At most I'd say if you get autofilled. I tend to get auto'd into jungle and ad more often than support.

What if we just got BE per game.

Like.

IP.

Champ prices/rune pages didn't get reduced, MasteryRank prices went waaay the fuck up and share the currency of champ prices/rune pages. So don't make the excuse of "You get BE from more sources now though :)))))"

Nami They do it in WoW. If there are not enough healers or tanks in queue they add an incentive reward for signing up for queue as heals or tank. Seems to work well
