An Appreciation post to the Herald "The Djinn"

This post is what the title says. A thank you and an "I appreciate you" post.

As you all know, today and yesterday the boards have been at a sort of crisis regarding mods being vehemetly hated by a small, but vocal group of people who seem to be very pissed off and just so happened to meet each others at an untimely time.

But when you see any of those posts, you always find Djinn there, trying as hard as he can to find a solution, to peacefully and politely address any issues there are and to clarify wherever he can. Try giving me an example of any post that has ever addressed the mod team where Djinn HASN'T made at least some approach towards.

Whenever I think of Mods and Initiative, my subjective imagination of Djinns mugshot pops into my mind. I've never known a mod who gives as much effort to be there for as many posts regarding issues with mods in correlation to how damn calm and collected a person of responsibility on the internet can be. This guy's level of enthusiasm would make Keanu Reeves jealous.

Now, nobody here has to agree with me, matter of fact i don't expect many agreements today, but as far as I and my opinion goes, it's unquestionable how much effort The Djinn gives into trying to address issues with moderation. What I'd give to have an administrator at my work who cares for both his fellow workers and his customers, to give an example easy to visualize.

So thank you Djinn for always trying to make the best out of every situation where the Mods and their work conflict one another. It has contributed to quite a lot of peace and understanding for those who can accept it.

I do not think i´ve ever seen that guy on anything but his standard diplomatic and peace seeking behavior, always being chill.

Nor do i recall him ever making any statements that were factually or statistically incorrect either about gameplay/balance which is also a thankful thing, rather he just sticks to his chosen task of maintaining civility, upholding the boards rules to the letter while also going out to share info about how something works from time to time.

The SirHcEz of board moderators pretty much?

As someone who gets pretty pissed at certain mods and tends to disagree with the mod team in general quite a bit, I have the upmost respect for The Djinn. Whenever me and my friends talk about the mods and weather or not we like what they are doing we always agree the Djinn is what the mods should strive to be. He always tries to keep the peace but unlike other mods he isn’t afraid to question some of the things riot does or voice his concerns about the game. I always enjoy reading a post or comment by Dijnn and I hope he stays in the community for years to come.

Djinn has always been a cool mod, too bad he gets thrown together with other "bad mods" by people who haven't seen much of his posts. I typically stay in the Concepts & Creations board, so maybe mods aren't as popular there? I haven't experienced any bad mods this year, just a lot of bad ideas... A lot of really bad ideas.
