it takes months tbh i have an account that's been rank zero that i just don't type on anymore and play regularly, been honor zero for 4+ months now still at checkpoint one, i think Riot is saying "stop playing or make a new account and give us money to get honor rewards again"

You will likely not hit honor 2 before the end of the season unless you spam like 500 to 1k games and beg everyone for honor.
