Fortnite now has equal of 250M Players and League has 80M (I just googled it) and here is why Fortnite addes more maps when riot thinks that the same map for 10 seasons can attract players right? and instead of adding new maps they removed twisted tree line one of the very oldest map in the game

Do riot really think that adding skins would attract players?

Fortnite is a battle royale game and is the most accessible game on top of the fact that its playerbase is mostly children.

Compare that to League which is a MOBA (which in terms of genre isn't that accessible) with most of its playerbase being between the ages of 16 and 30.

I'm pretty sure the map isn't the reason people played Fortnite. There are many reasons, F2P on console, quick games, lots of changes, skins to show off your friends and generally fun.

Not sure it can maintain it's large player base until 2027 however. Kids playing now will get older and move on and kid then will find something else.

Your data is wrong fortnite has 250m total players while league has a 80m monthly players two different stats. If you want a better basis on popularity use twitch shows how many people are watching each game which league has been on pare with fortnite through fortnite's lifespan and is now pretty much always higher than it with every once in a while fortnite spikes for an event. And guess what fortnite is like 3 years old and slowly dying while league has been going for 10 years and still the most popular game.

Fortnite isnt played because of the map. Also a game that is on all consoles and mobile ofcourse will be able to pull more players.

No idea how accurate this google seach is, but when you do google this....

how many players play league monthly

You get this chart below.

Title Monthly players Publisher(s) League of Legends 115 million Riot Games Minecraft 112 million Mojang Roblox 100 million Roblox Corporation Fortnite Battle Royale 78.3 million Epic Games

250 million is total registered players including inactive ones, I'd imagine over 10 years league would nearly triple that (if not more) with inactive accounts or banned ones making this stat mostly worthless.

Fortnite has more players because it doesn't waste player's time.

You aren't held hostage in Fortnite lobbies in unfair games

This assumption is similar to saying that 100% of people who die drink water so water bad

Fortnite boring as fuck, no matter what you do its just a game with guns, its the exact same thing over and over

League at least tries to make new interesting champions
