New ranking system
Does anyone else find this new ranking system to be a joke? Why should i have to climb up ranks in different lanes that makes no sense to me. Stupid as hell.

I like the idea of 1 rank better. Sure keep solo and flex but I want an overall rank and that's your rank. The other shit just shows what role you main and what role you are god awaful at.
You don't climb the ranks in different lanes. The new system is more of a a way to say "I'm great at playing top lane, average mid, jg and support, but I'm a garbage ADC." Also as you rank up one lane you raise your ranking in other lanes slightly as to make sure you're always playing against players in your elo.
That said, I do think Riot should keep the general ranking system as a primary indicator of a players standing and hav a system similar to grading implemented to tell others how well they preform in a given lane
everyone is better at different roles. someone might be a plat top laner, but a silver jungler, even with our current ranking system. this new ranking system is just a true expression of it. granted you'll still get "splash over" LP into your other roles as well tho, so you'll still steadily climb on those also. basically this is to fill the skill gap when it comes to autofill.
