That not being open and transparent about your policies is the reason that there is a chunk of your player base that doesn't trust you.

I don't trust Riot, but that's not a matter of their transparency on policies.
It's because they refuse to accept criticism (except when it comes to a massive outcry) while going back on previous promises as if really loyal veterans would just forget about them.
What do you want them to be open about?
BTW, this is a video game company. What diabolical plan do they have to get you?
