A thread for supps and adcs

If there is one thing you could tell your lane partner, something that if they listened to it, would make your job significantly easier; what would it be?

Bonus points for being as specific as possible.

I'll go first:

As someone who likes playing Morgana or Blitz, there are a lot of situations where the path of my snares/ grabs are blocked by a single minion that is out of place. Like for example you have melees in the front, casters in the back, but somehow in between them there is a single caster minion which by itself mitigates the thread I impose. So to my adcs out there, I would love it if you also paid attention to my direct line of sight to the enemy adc and farmed accordingly. This way I can get you even more fed ;)

  1. You see that I placed a control ward at the dragon pit to block vision while we are taking it and you see a revealed ward? Don't hit that ward.

  1. Your life > one CS

  2. When I go in, respond accordingly. I am leona with ignite. If you fight 2v2 with me, we WILL win

  3. Don't focus the tank support. they aren't going to damage you.

  4. If it's past 14 min, the outer turret is gone. just run.

  5. double melee bot lanes are better than you think.

  6. LET ME GET THE CANNON. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY.

  7. Please pay attention to the level 2 power spike.

  8. Don't perma push.

  9. Don't blow all your mana on the wave so that we can't trade well.

  10. Yes I am going to roam. No you're not going to die. Well, you won't die if you don't try to outplay them 1v2.

  11. HELP US AT DRAGON! You're not going to get tower at 8 minutes. Infernal > a single plating.

To ADCs.....

  1. Stop trying to play two champions. I am the support and you are the adc. You telling me how to play is not going to do anything except annoy me seeing as i probably have more experience supporting alone than you do in all of your league career. So when you are Kaisa and i am Karma and there is a heavy poke lane of Zyra and Cait on the enemy team.... focus on farming, and let me do the poking. Stop hard engaging every 2 seconds and blaming me for not following up every single time.

  2. Please learn to ward and not go up to the enemy turret the second i go to ward. If i ping careful and walk to the river to ward and you choose that specific time to tower dive them or some other crazy thing that you think you have the immortal hack on for.... it is not my fault.

  3. When I am playing Braum, Rakan, or champions like that that take an ally to jump to.... please do not run just out of my jump range after i had just went in and saved you then got cced for eternity just to die because you wont help me get back out by simply walking back a step.

  4. Please learn how to do something besides constant engage and push. When the enemy team had their mid and jungle come down 3 times before hand to kill us even after i ping careful that they are coming and you just had to keep going.

  5. Play an actual support champ for a week. Not brand or lux or something, but for example Janna or Lulu or Soraka or Braum or Nami etc. Youll learn very quickly the annoyances that supports have with you that are actually true (some of it is bs that some supports make up, but i dont see any of that here in this thread yet.) Also so you can figure out how to darn well play with those types of supports. Engage is good, but sometimes counter engage is better.

  6. Play behind minions unless i am morgana when there is a blitzcrank, thresh, pyke, or nautilus on the enemy team. And then even so you want to play behind minions and let me do the baiting of their skills. Yes. I want you to act like a baby in a crib until their cc is down. Focus on cs.

To supports....

  1. If you have been being hooked and hooked and hooked and hooked, perhaps it is time to play back. Stop trying to outplay them, play safe and wait for a gank.

  2. When they have heavy poke, stop trying to outplay them if they are outtrading us.

  3. Morgana players out there. Stop wasting your W soooo dang much! I keep seeing morganas go out of mana with little to no results for it because they keep using it to only proc the spellthiefs and comet/aery. If the enemy team has sustain in bott lane, go with a coin so atleast you get mana back easier if you absolutely must W every time it is up.

  4. Play an ADC for a week so you can learn the annoyances that they have with supports. Youll learn very quickly that there is quite a few annoyances they have that is actually very true. Also so you can figure out how to support them better. Some of it is made up bs, but there is some things that they say that are actually true.

  5. See number 1 of the "to adcs" apart from the supporting experience (in my case).

  6. Nami is love.

6.2 Use Nami's E on the ADCs to let them get the caster minions in 1 hit early on after a turret shot. The adc will tell you that you are a god and that they never knew that worked like that and then you will get 3 honors at the end of the game and you will feel good. (Well, the last sentence there is debateable, but the first is good)

A letter to ADCs from a Rakan one trick.

Hey there, I know you think Rakan has that crazy engage knockup potential and it looks really cool when he lands that w and you might be able to get a kill.

But did you know that Rakan's health was lowered to less than 500 level 1? Did you also know they increased the windup time on the w making it significantly easier to dodge? Did you know I don't get my dash shield until level 3 when I can access my e?

So please, if you're playing with me or another Rakan main, stop playing so forward levels 1-2 and when you get poked by the enemy support don't spam ping your Rakan for not going in and dying like an idiot.

Please, me backing doesn't mean you should start slow pushing the wave into the enemy tower and gift the enemies a cs/xp advantage.
