Higher MMR than rank but low LP gain

3rdAC NoBanPls - Summoner Stats - League of Legends

I lost a bit of matches a little bit ago, and now I've been off and on win streaks, lost my placements though sadly. I won 7 in a row to get to my placements, and only gained like 12 lp each game even though my MMR was higher than my elo. I also have been getting low lp each game even though my MMR is a rank above me. I really don't understand this MMR system at all, I've been reading into it and I understand how it works but now that my MMR is higher I really don't get it.

Op ggs mmr calculator is not 100 percent accurate.

op.gg is just an estimate.

low overall winrate is why yours is low. You havent brought your MMR up yet.

OP.GG is confused because its looking at the people in your games

You're going against people HIGHER ranks than you because you're duo-ing, not because your MMR is higher than you rank.

So just bringing my winrate up will bring my mmr up? That's not too hard then thanks.

Hey, I know another commenter responded and explained how op.gg is ineffective at measuring MMR. That's true, but it's still a great tool that helps you go back over your recent games. If you want a good tool to measure mmr I've found whatismymmr.com to be a better tool. Good luck in the rest of your games.
