New Animated M'Pengu Emote is unfair to Loyal fans and players of League

try and make this quick and to the point. This new animated M'pengu emote is cool af and loyal league players like me are sure to want to have it and in the patch notes it says anyone who purchased emotes before 8.12 will receive it. i did not receive the emote even though i have bought many of them in the past (usually on the days they come out) so i message riot support asking where it is and they replied with "Sorry for the confusion! If you purchased an emote or emote bundle during Patch 8.11, the animated M'Pengu emote should be in your account by June 26th." now i don't think this is right because loyal fans of League that are willing to spend their money on emotes the day or the first week they come out are basically punished by this. how are the people who spend their money on the patch they released new emotes the ones that are almost punished by the way they are releasing this super cool animated emote. how are we supposed to buy an emote on the 8.11 patch if we all had the ones we already wanted the day they came out, and i'm sure that if there was a notice somewhere that if we bought emotes on 8.11 we would get the special animated one. just seems unfair to the fans, i want to know the communities thoughts

Edit 3: The Problem is solved as there was a misunderstanding from some Riot employees and everyone will in fact be receiving emotes. https://imgur.com/a/y4JVpgK

I thought you had to buy an emote before patch 8.12 to get the emote I literally bought the Lulu emote the moment they were released Wtf riot

We can all clearly see it's Riot forcing another thing into their loot system to make a quick buck

This is more than a little disappointing... I bought the Vayne, Riven, Caitlyn, and Xayah emotes when they came out. Though I would definitely be getting the animated M'pengu...

Yeah, I actually assumed I would get one since I bought the Taric emote very early on... this ticks me off a small amount.

Alright Riot, thanks for the lesson - Emotes were clearly overpriced when released (and everyone said so) - but I still decided to buy a full set for ~30€ or something and now they reduce the prices and I don't even get the appreciation trophy? Aight. That feels really fucking bad.

I wrote a ticket to support about this and this is the response i got:

Thank you for writing in. The emote will be granted, but because there are so many accounts eligible for it, our system can not provide it to all of them at the same time. There is nothing to worry about, as you should also receive yours shortly.

Wait what the fuck? so i'm not getting the emote because i didn't buy an emote during that patch? even though I bought emotes in other patches?

Suck my fucking Dick you Riot crooks. Your damn right I'm pissed about that. They took a very select few of players who bought emotes for one patch and rewarded them while those who supported the game in previous patches got nothing?

I think there was a mild misunderstanding.

I won't be getting him, but it does make sense that you will be getting him. If he hasn't shown up in your account before the listed date, contact support.
