Lemme look at your match history real quick...
Okay, you're going AP, that's the problem. Not only are you going AP, but you're then building...tank? after getting Runic Echoes? To get used to the kid, I would go full tank with Resolve first. Once you're used to it, THEN try going AP.
As for playstyle, you need to control objectives. You can outsmite almost anyone and should be using that to your advantage. Whenever possible, steal the big raptor away from the enemy Jungler. Keep track of buff timers to try and steal red/blue and invade when you spot them on a ward. Maintain control of scuttles and most of all, GANK! Nunu's ganks are very powerful, especially when you lane gank.
Your "combo" as Nunu is to gank with snowball, hit E twice and walk up to them, and then press R. As the R channel continues, the E will end and they'll be rooted, allowing you to get the full charge off.
