Is there any way to gift a skin you own?

At some point I got Riot Kayle, and although I never play the champ, It's one of my friend's favorite champions. Since the skin can only be unlocked by attending a LoL event in 2014 or meeting a rioter, me giving him the skin would be the only way he'd be able to get it, but as far as I can tell that is not possible either. I thought I should ask here before I gave up in case there was a way I didn't hear about. Thank you for your time :P
