So has anyone reported Riot for civil rights violations yet?

Last I checked, it is illegal to discriminate based on gender. Specifically, customers who had already paid for a good/service were then denied full access to such because of their gender?

Riot keeps going lower and lower as a shithole company.

U.S. Code Title 42, Chapter 21 - Civil Rights Title 42, Chapter 21 of the U.S. Code prohibits discrimination against persons based on gender, age, disability, race, national origin, and religion (among other things) in a number of settings including: education, employment, access to businesses and buildings, federal services, and more. Chapter 21 is where a number of federal acts related to civil rights have been codified including: the Civil Rights Act of 1866, Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Civil Rights of Institutionalized Persons Act.

They haven't violated any civil rights get your panties out of a bunch.

For those who don't know civil rights protects the rights of minorities to not be excluded. Applies to things like not being excluded from a job because you're female or being denied an education because you're chinese. Not dumb shit like making white males wait 2 hours to enjoy a booth.

You're all monkeys. They weren't banned from the event. They just couldn't enter before 2:30. Get the fuck over it.

I am not sure if it's a civil rights violation, but Pax knows about it, and we will see what happens from there in the next event...

Like perhaps someone could link me to civil law regarding genders I saw about Equal Work, and stuff, but couldn't find where or not it's legal to be kicked out of a place based off gender.

For example if Riot owned their own campus I hear they do and they decided to do a Woman Only event then that would be totally legal, but at a public place, and when many people were unaware of it and then being denied entry based off gender - Non Binary, then I don't know if that is legal or how Pax is going to deal with that.

And to me it feels like a sexist thing I would say the same if it were Women being denied instead it's like totally slapping men in the face, or men who don't identify as Non Binary, but then hey I suppose if a man was to walk in, and not identify as a gender that would be okay.

It totally feels like it's slapping men in the face saying they are not good artists, and men do not cosplay at all, obviously women do it better but still.

To me seems like Riot Games is shaming every male out there who is inspired to be an artist, or do cosplay lol.

Someone's already posted this on the legal advice reddit. From what I've seen since males aren't a "protected class" they've done nothing wrong.

I think you should sue Riot. Also I think you could "report" Riot to Tencent. I really think Tencent wouldn't aprove if this.

It is illegal, and is supposed to have drastically higher consequences at a PAID event. Riot violated PAX policy and state/federal laws by doing this. All that's left is for some opportunist to start a class action lawsuit.
