New ranked system in 8.24

I updated my game this morning and the new patch was released but it was not until i got home then realized that the 5 in every division was gone. So my friends and i were talking and we checked how it would affect them. After looking on how it moved them up i would have assumed i would have moved up as well but it did not. One of my friends "TheBubbler" was ranked gold V 100 lp. after the new patches he was gold IV 100 lp with the same promo games. Now I not only did not move up but my mmr was reset to a basic gold 4 ranking when i had it to be a gold 3 mmr so i am pretty mad about this new updated ranking system and wanted to inform you about it. I believe that all the ranks should have gone up because of the new systems. so my argument is why i lost my high mmr and was not moved. Does anyone else agree about how dumb these changes were. also i think that this is unfair and is stupid being that people who were ranked lower then me are now higher then me because u guys decided to get rid of the 5th division

Sounds like something else is going on here. I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that the ranked update is trash, just because of something unique going on with you.

The update is VERY well received and people are VERY happy with it.

Besides the players who do not understand the system and come to forums and prematurely criticize the update in its entirety. (points at Iron players)

I would send a Ticket to Support so they can explain why it happened to you. Good Luck, I hope they help you somehow.
