>installling Windows 10

Who would unironically install a botnet that automatically upgrades itself without telling you what's in it first like on previous versions?

I keep hearing people complain about W10 automatically restarting cause you can't, or rather it is pretty difficult for non-savvy people, disable updates, but I honestly feel they deserve it for choosing to infect their PC with W10.

The only real reason to use W10 if it came with your computer/laptop pre-installed, but even then you could just buy OS discs of older versions.

Personally speaking, I use XP cause it's the best OS. All future OSs are dumbed downed versions created for the lowest common denominator of people.

My problem exactly and since then (before I knew Win10 was so bad) I installed some things that I can't reinstall or get again so..... -shrug-

Trying to use anything older than Windows 7 is downright miserable. Why anyone would willingly choose XP for a personal computer in 2018 is beyond me.

Honestly, Windows 10 has enough good stuff on it that if I had a computer with Windows 7 still on it I'd consider paying the upgrade costs. Took advantage of the free upgrade to 10 so I don't have to pay, but still.
