Making Fun of someone's skill level

Today I was playing Jax, I am trying to learn him. I had this game with a Quinn mid, she/he was Silver 4 and I'm about lower than bronze if I want to be honest. I'm good with many champions. This Quinn actually started calling me bad since I was 0/6 and he/she was 12/4. I was getting a bit stressed. I feel like I'm making too much drama and I should just deal with it but would making fun of someone's skill level be bannable? It can actually hurt feeling and so it hurt mine.

We all have bad games... 1.7 million mastery on MF here and you can bet I still have the occasional game where I end world hunger. Mute the teenager and move on.

Well, if it's uncalled for, then yeah, it feels stupid. But there are occasions where I also make fun of people based on their elo / skill, but only if they ask for it. For example, a bronze player giving advice on how to play a lane to like a platinum player. Or like if I'm smurfing, I know what the correct play is, and my bronze / silver teammate calls me out for it, even though it works out in the end.
