Computer occasionally restarts itself when playing LoL?

A few months ago, I put a new graphics card into my computer. I noticed that occasionally, it would randomly restart itself. Then, I noticed that this only happens when I play League of Legends (Except for a single instance). I can play PUBG, Overwatch, G-Mod, etc just fine. I can type up documents, stream videos, etc. It ONLY happens when I play League of Legends. I only just now realized that it only happens when I play League. Yesterday I uninstalled and reinstalled it and toned down the graphics (From the highest possible quality to medium). In case this doesn't work, does anyone have any idea what the issue might be?

Make sure if you installed any software with the card (besides drivers) that it not over clocking it.... Example MSI cards have Afterburner bundled on a CD with the card and that is used to OC.

Next ensure you PSU outputs enough power and that the card is plugged into the PCIx power (6 pin or 8pin) if applicable.

Make sure card and ram are fully seated into there respective slots (I've seen people knock ram loose when working inside more than likely it was the fully seated in the first place)

And as previously mentioned make sure all fans are plugged in and reinstall graphics drivers via AMD or Nvidia websites (depending on your card of course)

After checking all this download and run any graphics benchmarking program you like to stress the card and make sure the card is not faulty if system reboots during tests I would consider returning the card for a replacement.

That happened to me also, like several times already.

Try updating your graphics card drivers. That's most likely the issue.

Is there anything that fixes this cause my computer does this too. Literally only when I play league and its the only issue my computer has. No new graphics card, no other downloads, its league causing my problem, and it shouldn't be since I'm running it on a computer with 4 GB of RAM.

When you reinstalled it, did you reinstall from a CD or from the latest driver available on their website?

EDIT: Other thoughs, I would do a hard drive check. If the league patch was installed over a bad sector of hard drive that can cause issues. Maybe a RAM test COULD be in order, but I would expect issues with other applications as well in that case (but a grasping at straws sort of thing)

Same here. Something is fishy.

I recently put in a new graphics card as well and this happened to me and then I found out 2 of my fans weren't plugged in. I fixed the fans and it never happened again, open up your pc or laptop and check to make sure all the fans are plugged in and working. If that doesn't help then make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. Having an overheating PC also slows it down.

I know the obvious piece of advice everybody is going to give is to make sure your drivers are up to date, but you could also have to roll back your drivers to the last stable version. Had to do that for WoW a couple of times back in the day. I had updated my drivers recently, and after playing WoW for a few minutes my computer would lock up and blue screen. After rolling back to do a clean install of the driver it was still happening, so I just went back down to the last set of drivers I knew worked fine and that was the end of it.
