How bad is it? After the fiasco that is Episode 8 and how Disney basically put it a few weeks after Infinity Wars to die, I'm not surprised if it's a mess.

Sadly this is pretty true. We old fans got a giant middle finger from Disney and probably won't get another good Star Wars movie. I honestly don't care if they don't include OT characters anymore, I just wish they kept it feeling like Star Wars and stayed true to the Star Wars Universe and pretty much actually wrote a story that made sense. Like, I love KOTOR and those don't have any OT characters in them, but it's a great Star Wars feeling story. Why can't Disney/Lucasfilms learn from that?
I'm going to be sitting this one out. Feels too much like a lazy cash grab (robot called L337? Really?) for me to participate.
Star Wars is a shit series anyway, from the very first movie to the last one. All of them suck.
Didn't really look good at all. All of the trailers were pretty awful. I couldn't even tell what the plot was going to be in them and it just looked like a bunch of generic action scenes with nothing interesting going on. Looked like it was just gonna be Lando, Han, and friends circlejerking each other for 2 hours. If some of my other family members or friends wanna watch it I might go, but probably not.
I'm sure they're gonna do a bunch of other stand alone movies and they're all gonna be really bad cash grabs. They're really trying to milk the shit outta this trilogy lol.
