Increasing the Champion mastery limit

I propose that the champion mastery doesnt end with Lvl 7 as it is easily achievable and most people can get it in a few weeks and it doesnt truly portray your skill with the champion .. I would like it to be increased to mastery 10 at least because true mains and dedicated players will want to truly master the champion over a longer time and probably main him.

Alternative: I main Lissandra (obviously..) and it would be amazing if you would get a certain mastery or border after reaching 100 games with the champion within a season, so it would be special and exclusive to a champion that has been played over a few hundred games..

So i propose either increasing the mastery level overall or granting a special border or mastery Emote after reaching e.g 100 games with a champion, thus making the mastery only usable with the champion.

Feel free to share your thoughts and proposals:)

Mastery 10 wouldn't mean any more than mastery 7 does when it's all said and done. They'd end up constantly increasing the limit, or making it so incredibly difficult to achieve that it's not even a matter of being a main anymore. Furthermore, if they make it that difficult to attain you'd just end up with people trading matches between friends to do it. That's the problem with mastery - it's not about skill, it's just that you've played that champion a lot. Eventually even a blind squirrel will find a nut, that's why so many people hit r7 with ease.

But let's say they do make some incredibly hard to get maximum mastery rank that only an incredibly high skilled main could achieve - what now? Nobody below D1 would get it because they'd have to stop comparing your performance to other people playing that champion at your rank (which is what post-game ratings are), and start comparing you to the highest skilled players across the server, or even worldwide if they want to truly be accurate. Then what happens to champions that get full VGUs? People have already come to the conclusion that mastery rating on champions that have been heavily reworked means almost nothing, and that mastery rating for those champions should be reset to reflect the fact that they are not truly the same anymore. So what happens when people hit high/max rating with a champion that then gets a VGU? They have to do it all over again, they're getting punished for something entirely out of their hands.

I would like to see mastery mean something. Like, win a ranked game in plat5 or higher and earn an S+ with the champion. Make it less easily attained. Or like get 3 S+ in a row with the champ.

Mastery points show be replaced with an award quest system. Imagine every champ having no mastery, but a award display, earned through completing difficult quest like, do three key blades as Yasuo that results in a takedown in one game, or save an adc from 5 attackers without item activites as Janna, and for the harder ones, carry a game as (blank) with gold difference of 1290 from the rest of your team and with 2 afks lol. Quest and awards could show off better skill with champs rather than having to play 40 games as that champ just to get them to Mastery 5, than play 5 games just to get them Mastery 7.

What an original idea, bet nobody ever thought of higher mastery levels before, this person can count past 7 what a legend.
