It's full of fat that's bad for your heart. Why deepfry in oil when you can deepfry in water? It has at least 1/2 the calories and is heart healthy :^)

######Yes, I'm aware you didn't mean that oil

It's a limited source we will eventually run out of.

The people who own it have a monopoly on it and purposely fight against other more renewable and better means of fuel to keep people buying it.

It is harmful to the environment.

just google "debate against oil use" and copy one of the like 50 lists of reasons why. It's what I did for all the school debates I had to do.

The main problem with oil is the omega-6 fatty acids. Believe it or not, the saturated fat thing is a myth, butter is actually good. Organic butter even has some omega 3 fatty acids. Coconut oil is also a decent choice for frying.

There are only so many dead dinosaurs to get oil from, it's bad for the environment, and there are alternatives that pollute less (solar, wind, and even nuclear)

Coconut oil is very good. You can eat it and there is some skin benefits from it.

If you are debating someone else it would help to also learn some of their talking points and prepare counters in advance.

For example, air and solar power use large amounts of oil energy to be produced and compared to the energy used to make them are horribly inefficient. Also, they give varying amounts of energy meaning if you are entirely dependant on them you might produce too little one year and have to buy from outside sources or produce too much and have to pay outside sources to take it (as has happened to Germany).
