PLEASE Remove level requirement for Summoner Spells!
It is dumb to force us to use summoner spells that we don't want to use, it so stupid like there is no reason behind level requirement for summoner spells.

While I agree it can be annoying for some players, I believe Riot does it largely to keep smurfs from being a wide-range ordeal (if there is a ton of early levels without usual summoners, people are less likely to smurf without a reason). While this may lower quality of game for some early users, it also keeps a majority of the level 30 playerbase from dominating low-leveled games with smurfs. Also, the gradual increase in summoner availability helps you focus on improving your gameplay, then worrying about the intricacies of summoner spells.
Now, I am in agreeance that this process is way too slow, as having to wait to level 12+ for all summs is kind of ridiculous (when that was me, with how infrequently I was ABLE to play, that took me almost 6 months). Perhaps lowering the level for summs to somewhere near level 8-10?
Main reasons for summoner spell level requirements:
-Lessens information overload. Ideally the only thing new players have to deal with is champions, but there is still items and objectives and tons of other stuff
-Smite brings a whole new world of headaches. Players don't even need to think about jungling early on, and it does NOT make the starting play experience better. It just makes it more confusing.
If you want to play with a smurf account, RIOT has acknowledged that having to make a new account and restart like you do now is not ideal, but it is important not to throw everything at once to a level 1's face.
I think this level requirement is very good for new players. A new player has trouble enough managing their abilities and positioning. It's more fair when the summoners are easier to use and less snowbally.
Smurfs ruin the game for new players. They are a brake on the growth of a game. Smurfs are only good for a dying game to extend the last breath. Riot acknowledges that League is not in that state yet.
I agree, makes learning jungle much harder for newer players

Apparently you didn't pay attention to what the Rioter said on your other board, or you wouldn't have posted this in the first place. He said,
"The point of the level requirement is to slowly introduce those spells to newer players. If someone's never played a MOBA before, Flash would be much harder to use efficiently than Heal."
Next time when someone tries to explain stuff to you, read it and not go on a rant for something you don't know the reasons for.
Some of them having level requirements makes sense.
Like Teleport, which really requires some level of game knowledge to be useful at all.
Or Smite, which is restricted because it's really just a very bad idea to jungle at level 1 with no runes or masteries.
Flash, though, given how important it is to the game and how every single champion in the game has been balanced around it for eight years, should really be available from level 1. Yes, it takes some practice to learn if you've never played a similar game before, but that's what being level 1 is all about; learning new stuff.
One big thing with smite is that new players tend to execute a lot, this can be attributed to lack of masteries/runes as well as not enough game knowledge so its also a huge safetynet for players who will just execute over and over again in a game
As someone who had essentially never played a PC game prior to League of Legends, I do have to say hiding some of the Summoners behind levels makes a lot of sense.
You take things like right-clicking to move and attack for granted but remember- there are people who do not know this when playing. There are people who might freak out if the camera moves and will have issues just learning to focus on QWER in the first place and basically ignoring the rest of they keyboard. You have to learn what the different number colors in your abilities mean and what stats in the shop work for you and don't. You have to learn the difference between how different abilities work (skillshots, self-cast, etc.) There's a lot to learn for a newbie. It makes more than a little sense to hide the more complex stuff for a bit so they have time to learn.

Very true. I have a smurf account but I specifically avoid leveling it up because I dont have access to flash or ignite and it makes the idea of smurfing much more useless.
They don't want new players using flash so they can't outplay the intro level AI kappa
As stated by Riot before they don't want to encourage smurfing, so it makes sense having new players unlock new sums the more they play.
It's meant to be apart of the learning curve. That's why it exists. New players probably won't give a damn just due to already being really overwhelmed so they won't care as much about getting all the Summoner spells early. Smurfs are a whole other bag of problems that Riot needs to figure out how to deal with. They aren't really intended and more or less just a weird bi-product of the competitive elements.
I remember when I first started League.
I had no idea what gank, mia, oom, TP, or a number of other things were. Hell, I had zero idea what lane calling was until about 30 games in, someone started feeding mid because he wanted mid and I didn't call it. Huge light bulb moments. Summoner Spells, golly. I can't even remember when I figured out what people were talking about when referring to smite. And meta, runes, item builds, role specifications, last hitting, and numerous other delights?
Things I was oblivious to for the longest time, and not because I'm a complete moron (although I feel like one at times). It's because going into a game like this with no prior experience, is often times a sensory overload for new players.
So, yes, the level requirements for Summoner Spells, I believe are there for a reason. For some, not so much, but everyone isn't you. This is not ideal for smurfing sure, but then again, I'm not interested in making the game easier to smurf, unless those smurfs are somehow guaranteed to be placed in other smurf only lobbies for their first 30 account levels. And for good reason.
You can feel the cancer growing around your heart when you're in a lobby with that one player who is obviously not from your bronze planet, and just happens to be passing through for a free double back to back quadra penta tacular kill because he's smurfing from his not yet diamond account.
Having smite since level 1 would make jungling smurfs completely dominating new lvl 1-10 players.

Is this a statement for new players, or smurfs....?
Yes, please, for the love of god!
only smite should be locked
not sure why flash is locked
