There's nothing wrong with the company allocating resources to skins for champions that people actually buy the skins for.

Let Lux "see what it feels like"? You know she's not a real person, right? No champ is. They're just merchandising platforms, and the merchandise goes to whichever one can sell the most of it.
Riot is a company. Their goal is to maximize profit. Being nice to fictional characters doesn't enter into it.
