Could Use Your Opinion

I'm designing a champion for fun and I have a few ideas for their lore. Could you guys help me decide the most interesting option? Base info is that the champion is child corrupted by a parasite from the void and is found in Zaun and Viktor creates augments to conceal the void creature in the childs body.

  1. Viktor was performing harsh experiments on the champion its whole youth, but the child and Viktor have grown to respect each other because the other champion has helped Viktor create some amazing things.
  2. The champion hates Viktor because of all the experiments and escaped Viktor and seeks to stop Viktor and Zaun in their atrocities.

I think both would be interesting. But Viktor with a side kick would be pretty rad. We've got enough champions with serious beef (lucian thresh, riven yas) I think a tag team would be a nice change.

I'm assuming that the parasite is the core of the champion's abilities and is actually what gives the champion their power.

Viktor is pretty obsessed with perfection. I would imagine Viktor being more likely to see the parasite as the organism he is seeking to learn from, more than the child host.

I would think that the relationship might have started under the false pretenses of a father / child, or master / apprentice, with Viktor augmenting the child as a way to control the parasite .. but I think as the child matures, they would probably have discovered that Viktor has only been using them to learn about the parasite so that he could exploit it for his own means.

The late revelation in your lore might actually be the point where Viktor believes he has perfected his augmentations and attempts to kill the champion so that he can take the parasite for himself.
