Why wasn't Seto Kaiba arrested when he Ripped up Grandpa's Blue Eyes White Dragon card?
This guy eavesdrops and overhears Yugi talking about Grandpa's rare card. He attempts to purchase/trade for the card, and when Grandpa doesn't accept the offer he destroys Grandpa's shop, beats Grandpa until he's unconscious and steals the card and destroys it.
This is assault, theft, and destruction of private property; and Yugi should've called the police since Seto Kaiba committed a crime against his Grandfather. Instead he plays a children's card game and mind blasts Kaiba after winning the match.
Imagine if Bill Gates went to some small business owner's place of business, assaulted the owner, destroyed their store, and destroyed a rare and expensive item. It would make national news, Gates' company stock would plummet, and Gates himself would probably spend some time in prison; unless he paid off the District Attorney. There would also be a Civil Suit for millions.
Kaiba should've spent the night in jail and had a lawsuit brought against him.
