get Bronze V after 9/10 win of provisional March
I got 9 win of the S8 provisional march, but was set to Bronze 5. Is that equal?

You can't start higher than you were last season, if you were only B3 in season 7 the highest you can go after Provisional matches is B3.
Placement matches are a test to see if your previous rank is still accurate. People who take breaks between ranked seasons and don't practice before jumping right in tend to get placed lower than they were. What was your rank last season?
Hell man If you were bronze last season just climb.. And be happy you couldn't go lower.. 2 seasons ago i ended up in s3 stopped playing came back practices got back into flow did placements for last season.. B3.. Huge drop i climbed back quickly.. (i went 8-2) it has alot to due with the hidden MMR(it's still there)
It's because your MMR last season was wood tier. Even if it says your bronze 5, your hidden MMR was actually much lower.
'Soft Reset' means you can go 10/10 and are left with the division you last had if I'm understanding it.
This provisional rank is just shit...8 win games ..all the games carry the game and the rest noobs with Fiora top...high score high farm ..i was silver 2 last season..and now bronze 3..wtf riot...so bad this game changed
