Ranged hypercarries are too safe and cause the entire game to be focused around them.
That leads to all the melees either being overpowered bruisers/skirmishers/assassins, or when those guys aren't OP, boring tanks.
Ranged hypercarries should always be worse than melee ones in terms of damage. They're a million times safer, so they'll still be viable. But they should be waaay weaker.
That doesn't mean we should buff Yasuo and Master Yi and Riven though. It means we should nerf an ADC's lategame and give them a more linear progression.
hypercarry is a meme
I don't care so much about the old "protect the kog" thing, but hypercarries with repositions and self-peel really grind my gears.
