Stuck in D4

After many years, i decided that this year (s9) i would have tried to reach at least Master tier. I have always been in the mid platinum tier, but it didn't take me too long to reach d4, around 80% win rate on 40 games in the first month or so. However, when i got to d4 games were getting rougher and rougher, and what i mean by that is that these games were uncarriable... I don't understand how i went from 80% win rate to a mere 56/57%, and what makes me sad about this is that i lost 10% of them because of myself, the rest was just because my teammates were some kind of underdeveloped monkeys. I get that LoL is a team game, but how can i get to higher elo just by coin flipping every game's fate?

Not to be rude, but it could also be that you, and those with u in d4, were effected by the inflated lp gains of the begining of the season.

Now with the soft reset, alot of people who shouldnt have even gotten diamond in the first place (not saying ur one of them) are now hardstuck d4 till they eventually drop down to the rank they deserve.

So unfortunately, while mmrs re-normalize, and people who abused the system are weeded out, you may either have to try harder to bring ur team a win, or just understand that not every game is carriable. Even in D2 there are people who make you scrath ur head. Just ignore ur teams downfalls and try ur best as a player.
