So much to know about league that people don't even know about. (Competitive talk)

People see league at face value; however there is much deeper things like minion waves objectives spawn timers and rotations to ganks/objectives Red/blue buff is also objectives that can be rotated to...

Microing and Macroing The ability to control your character in a 1v1 and see what's going on around you with teleport/mapawareness and where you should be

how the game goes and what you should be building... waveclear so you can get objectives or what??? teamfight- understand your team comp and what you are capable of doing in a teamfight... lane swap for dragon pressure, or ability to force a fight

ability to react with teleport or rotating to fights

csing is a big deal for microing and how to take the least amount of damage, so you can be useful at all times of the game, or beating your enemy laner.

warding and ward sweeping is a big roll and catching people with lack of vision on objectives is a big deal too

knowing when your team is most powerful is also a big deal.... BUUUUUT THERE IS SO MUCH MORE THAN WHAT I AM SAYING HERE

how to survive lane phase matters and what to build and how to react or not to react to things your team does.

P.S.- Read the damn patch notes and know what items are strong, so you know what to build lol

I forgot another important fact... notice how the enemy champs react and play around you and your play style, you can tell when a gank is coming.... or if you can catch/gank someone

People do talk about this stuff, but it's mostly as informative talk since all debate on it has long since past. They say it, some people learn, and then it gets left behind where few people can find it. Worst part is it all slightly changes with each patch, so working off outdated information can really screw you over.

People complain about a lot of things Riot does, but the worst thing they do is how they provide us with the resources we need to learn the game, or more accurately how they don't.

For anyone who really wants to learn about the game you have to dig deep. Read the wiki, find a youtuber that actually talks about macro play, and check the subreddits for each champion you're learning a matchup for. The Boards can be helpful but are ultimately unreliable.

This game is legit a big aram now. Wave management, in all honesty, is a small detail now. The best strategy is to push and roam (if you're not bot lane). Even if you are bot lane, pushing and roaming is still an incredibly effective strategy. There's only one strategy to the game now and macro management is at an all time low. After you help your bot lane get FB tower, you legit group as 5 and run around the map taking every other objective there is to take.

You stroll into side lanes for a minute to cs for more items, then go back to it. The information available on the net right now for the indepth knowledge of league is quite outdated and won't help you much. You better pray your teammates can team fight effectively or if you're lucky for anyone to be caught out alone and get a pick. No one, and I mean literally, no one wonders around on their own anymore. Everyone is consistently in groups of 3s or more and araming mid lane.

There are exceptions where you can have more strategic outplays, however, those are few and far between.
