Teemo -- Why Not in Pro-Play ?

What does Teemo need to be in tournament play? I had a Teemo rework idea: ~Leave Passive, Q W E alone. ~Move R to E along with current Passive Poison. Mushrooms do less damage and dont last as long. ~Create new Ult: "Scout's Code" Teemo gets HP, Armor & Magic Resist boost for 5 secs. To help in team fights. Also a 50% size increase for fun.

Also how am I as Teemo mid lane? He is good top as well, i think. In laning anyway. I rush Rageblade then Gunblade for life steal. Other items depending. Teemo

Eee i don't think so chief teemo already wins the lane phase pretty hard. Having mushroom at lvl 1 is pretty broken enmey laner can't tarde at all or fram safely because all of the early mushroom plantings. If you feel teemo is too weak just play keeneKennen same play style as teemo

Why do you think reducing the power and impact of his iconic move and giving him temporary tankiness would make him played more in pro? That'd make him played even less, because the only reason to pick him (zone control with his R) would be weaker.

I think the reason that teemo is not in pro play is the same reason that champs like garen do not get picked either. These champions do well in low elo but not so well in high elo and do not get picked in pro because they are very binary and everyone knows how to counter. Basically they do one thing and everyone can predict it.

Against an experienced team they will not really win lane, provide much pressure or be able to fully use their champion's "gimmick." Once a team knows how to play around them their presence is negated and they become irrelevant. You also cannot really buff binary champions like this because the amount of buffs you would need to make them relevant in pro play would make them absolutely oppressive.
