Need some community help for a school marketing project I'm doing involving Riot & League

Hey guys. I'm currently in University for Marketing, and as one of the criteria for finishing this particular marketing class, I need to develop a marketing plan for the implementation of something that would help drive sales and be a boon to the company. With that said, I would like to ask you guys a few questions.

  1. How long have you been playing League of Legends?
  2. What aspect do you enjoy most about the game?
  3. If Riot were to branch out, what genre of game would you like to see them create?
  4. What is one thing you've always wanted Riot to do, but they haven't?

  2. I enjoy the replay-ability of it. Yeah it's the same map and objectives, but compositions are always different, skill levels change, and how it plays out varies from game to game, all of which provides different challenges and experiences within a familiar context. Probably the same reason games like Diablo and Pokemon are popular.

  3. I think what makes sense for them to make is a game more focused on the lore aspects of league. They would likely want it connected to league in that way because there's an established market and customer base. Perhaps that might lead them to a dungeon crawler (ie Diablo) or to an rpg style game (ie final fantasy, chrono trigger). But those games take lots of time and money. So theyd be more likely to release smaller fun games, maybe 8bit style like they have in the past. Like a league style candy crush or something they can pump out easy with good accessibility and potential revenue.

  4. I've always wanted a game mode that focused on the rich stories and world built up behind league. Like a 5v5 map that was noxus vs demacia exclusively would be amazing. Stuff like that.
