Is anyone there? hello? Riot?

Literally the only parts of the board that get any attention from Riot are in Story, Art, and Sound. Like, I get it and I have no problem with it but at the same time it's like, where's that same energy for the rest? The boards for the past few weeks, have been exploding with Opinions, VALID complaints, with evidence and so much support backing it up and it gets NO attention from riot, Would it kill them to at least type "Okay" just so people can KNOW that they've been heard? What's the point of even having the boards split up in so many sections if you're only going to be looking at like 3. Your client has been bugged for weeks and is genuinely impacting people's gameplay, damage is too high, people are threatening to leave your game, Dragons are absolutely busted and need more than just a tap on the wrist to keep in line.

IF ANYONE from Riot reads this can you PLEASE, while you're on here, take at least 5 minutes of your time whenever you can and skim through the discussions that have been exploding in Gameplay/General discussion and give the community that's keeping you alive some idea that you care about what they have to say, Thank you.

  1. Riot doesnt run these boards. The only time rioters go on them is if they genuinely want to, not because their job forces them to.

  2. Going by top voted topics is pointless due to the amount of vote bots here. Ive seen great posts go from 3 to -50 in a second. Not to mention that posts get thousands of views yet no one votes.

3)Riot probably has more information than anyone in boards does. Bug reports are most likely already known and Riot has way more reliable information than we do. And though at times it may not look like it, they have done a rather good job with balancing

I’ll copy my reply from a thread last night:

Because the SAS/community creation boards are the only ones where there is a semblance of a community actually interested in discussion and which are policed enough to allow actual discussion to take place.

Other boards are filled with rants, people ignoring facts and/or not providing any evidence whatsoever, and simply being completely illogical. When people try to discuss or provide evidence, they find every reason it's wrong even when it's not. When numbers are presented, instead of accepting them, people attempt to attack people's character and not actually discuss anything. Then, when they don't get a response, they go spam a Rioter on an unrelated thread to try and get a response to theirs (which doesn't deserve a response anyway).

The community wonders why Riot doesn't discuss with them - it's because Riot isn't going to waste time trying to discuss when this community consists mainly of people who make up their mind, refuse to accept any evidence or logic, and will ultimately be useless discussion.

The fact that this very reply will get massively downvoted is proof of this. I am pointing out a perfectly logical and valid reason that Riot communication on the boards has declined - and pointed out why SAS gets a lot of Riot engagement compared to, say, gameplay. Yet I will be getting downvotes because "lol no it's bc Riot sucks".

One good example of this is your very thread. Your opinion is damage being too high. You refuse to accept that maybe the majority of players like higher burst meta. You also make comments on bugs without any information about them - when most of these bugs are not riots problem.
