Anyone else notices the pattern here or is it only me? Looks to me that Riot buffs certain champions that get a new skin so they look kinda stronger than they are in order for people to buy those skins.. They literally nerfed Khas passive and now they are buffing it again..smells fishy to me

Kha got a minor buff to force a meta shift in pro, same as darius.

Lucian was underperforming for almost a year now and is meta again.

Skins take months to do, balance changes maybe a week or so.

Also, riot probably nerfs more champions around skin releases than buffs.

I wish they would stop buffing champs with good dmg numbers and instead focus on improving what makes them fun to play. Q dmg isn't the reason people enjoy playing Lucian. They like the mobility he has from slinging spells correctly. EQEWEQE is a very fun combo but you need 40% cdr and maxed E to do it quickly meaning it takes most of a game to reach that point. The movement speed from his w is also really cool but you get little benefit from the ability itself until you start maxing it which is always last. The Q is the least interesting thing in Lucians kit but its what you max and its what they buffed.

What I would want is if lucians E could work just as well on 30% CDR as it currently does on 40%. Increase the movement speed bonus from W at earlier ranks for a more noticeable get up and go.

Thresh has had some nice buffs due to his excellent skin as well and as a thresh main I am very satisfied. Sadly little has changed for thresh for most of the game. Once you have maxed q all that's changed is the lower mana cost and the lantern is up a little sooner. The key thing being the lower mana giving you an extra hook every third hook, that is nice. What I would rather see however is a 80 mana cost for missing a hook and a 40 mana when you land it, that would be amazing and being good with the q means that much more then.
