League of Legends, 3 years of 90% One Shot Assassin Meta!. Tanks be damned. (Mostly)

As if season 5 to 8 wasn't already enough of Assassin Meta, Riot is back at it again, worshipping their Ionia female champs in hopes more girls will play this game (That would be my guess and it's stupid), while leaving champs like Morde, Maokai, Malphite, Alistar and Mundo, MOSTLY IN THE ******** GUTTER. We still have Rammus and Nautilus quite on top at this time, but Mundo was strong for apparently two long, a whopping 5 patches or so! And so they nerfed him into the ground. Not to mention Gragas went from Tank to Bruisy Assassin in one full go.

Such a joke. As if Riot doesn't already have enough money, they just decide to make the most popular bought champs the most powerful, along with those champs who have the most purchased skins. And out goes the balance, and in goes the Crony-Corporate Capitalism. And that's the problem with Capitalism. Some people think it means dog eat dog and care not for integrity.

I just watch people play league now, and from all I see that seems to be the consensus, from the time I used to play, to all this time i've watched Streams.

It uhh.. it wasn't. season 5 was cinderhulk meta season 6 was extremely tank heavy season 7 was ardent censer meta

There were other things mixed in, like when lethality was first introduced for example, but it's been very, very far from an assassin meta for 3+ years. As it is, we're starting to transition more into a tank/bruiser meta right now.

Uhh... they literally just unveiled morde's rework, and mundo and maokai got buffs a few patches ago, as did cho'gath, garen, leona, amumu, gnar, nautilus, ornn, sej, trundle, shen, volibear...
