Lol so many people are moving out of the Bay Area.
I don't know any other place where there's a shortage of U-Haul trucks lol and California has the highest rates of people moving out now.

Hey guys,
Just a friendly reminder to keep anything political off this thread. It's fine to talk about how silly it is that U-Haul is out of trucks and even talk about the housing climate, but leave political parties and other politically charged things out of it. I've gone ahead and done some editing and deletions to remove any mentions so we have a clean slate going forward.
Thanks
[poppy-wink]
Is this because of the natural disasters <Removed>?
Probably because it costs a fortune to even live there. The housing market is ridiculous at the moment

Did ya hear microsoft is going to start monitoring your private xbox/skype convos and ban people that use inappropriate language even if you were never reported/its a private chat with freinds.
The world has gone nuts.
They're probably all gonna come flood Denver I'll bet. Seems like everyone is moving here. If rent goes up again, I'm gonna need a Uhaul
mental gymnastics incoming in 3...2...1...
Would be good if we had lower house prices.
California sucks.
EUW here, what's going on? Did their local wallmart close and now they have to shop at the expensive stores?
I want a refund
Can't imagine why
If everyone is leaving and no one is moving back, why is the value of property not going way down? I would think people wouldn't want to pay taxes for a vacant house that they can't sell for years on end and they would end up giving it away basically for free. There are general contractors in my area, which has been the fastest growing part of the nation for years now, who just give away spec houses for cost if they haven't sold in about a year. They don't want to pay taxes for something they may or may not make money off of eventually netting them a loss from paying those taxes. I don't know much about the housing market in other areas, but you can get a 6 bedroom/4 bath house with 3.5k sq feet for $400,000 where I live.
Part of this is because of the housing crisis.
Its so fucking expensive to live here, thats why.
1900 a month for my studio. If I ever want to own a house in the area I need to at least double my salary.
