Why I play league for the time being.

I receive a scholarship to play league of legends for college. I play league for the opportunity to go away for college and live a lifestyle I couldn't when I was going to community college. Honestly though if I wasn't playing for college I would have already quit and moved on to another game. I no longer feel that solo que delivers the competitive experience it use to. I will continue to play and try my best to grow at this game but when there is little to no counter play to the damage in the game, no way to stall a game and that one bad play by a team mate or yourself in the first 15 minutes will lose you the game there is no strategy left.

I will always hold league in high regards and wish riot the best because of them I am able to live my life with the utmost freedom available to me.

Though to see them turn a game of chess into checkers is just like watching a slow car crash that you are a part of.

if league ever dies, it will be to a new moba, not another game. the odds are low.

League of Legends still stands as the peak of moba standards. Even if we deny it league has things what me may not wish for but they soon enough come and go.
