Why do people automatically assume I'm talking about Solo Q when I say "Silver V, in 3's"? (Rant)

Do people not even know what 3's is anymore? Yes, I was placed in Gold last season, did you even read what I just said? I decided to put this in my status message in the League client and you have no idea how many people have said "I got placed in Silver too, damn." Is the term "3's" just so obsolete that I should just put TT and have people ask me what that is so they ask me before assuming I'm talking about Solo Queue? In fact, why do people say "it's not a big deal, it's flex." Yeah? ISN'T FLEX SUPPOSE TO BE HARDER THAN SOLO QUEUE? You're dealing with pre-mades who more or less could be trolling and if you learn to persevere this, wouldn't that make you better as a player physically and mentally? I got Silver 2 in S6 in Flex, which was pretty difficult if you ask me, but once Solo Queue came back and I tried it for the first time in S7, getting to Gold V was a walk in the park, I almost felt like Gold should be the new Silver and Silver and Bronze should just merge, they have the same type of people which consist of more new people in Silver and more people who've played a 1000 games in Bronze than possibly 3 other Elos.
