Welp, I’m convinced Riot doesn’t know how to balance Tahm Kench
Yes please nerf the support champion with an low WR, who’s not even strong at the moment in his main role. Also riot continue to make sure he’s super frustrating to play against by not actually looking at what makes him so strong and hard to counter. Yes, very good.

For those of you who don’t know, Riot’s decided to lower TK’s health early game in exchange for more health per level, equalizing around mid game and upping his health pool late. But because Tahm Kench is an early to mid game champion, this is a nerf. Especially when considering the fact that late game most champions can burn through extra health so easily that the buff half is virtually useless.
But that’s not what makes me upset, Riots Reasoning is what boils my blood.

- Tahms sturdiness isn’t the problem it’s the fact that he can disengage anyone from a fight by eating them away at a slightly safer distance. Rather than hitting his tank stats AGAIN maybe look into just adding a soft counter to his W, something that’ll put him at risk for diving into the enemy to save someone? And no, not a god-awful cooldown nerf like last time.

- Tools? Like with an S? I count one defensive ability in his kit, his E. That’s it. TOOL. So basically what I’m hearing is you want Tahm to activate his shield more often? Then why not change the shield? Oh right because every time you’ve tried it’s made him either worse balance wise, or more frustrating.

- Tahm’s not a team fighter, he’s just not. He’s an AMAZING skirmisher and a great duelist but his lack of AOE, engage, and disengage, and quick CC make him horrible at teamfighting. Most TK’s just focus one guy to stun them and devour them to take them out of the fight rather than fight themselves. So late game, no, he’s not going to “wade into the enemy team lategame” he’ll stick to the carry or one threatening guy on the enemy team and STILL be frustrating to deal with.
So this buff fixes nothing. Can I get a slow clap? But this weak as water excuse shows me that riot doesn’t know what to do with TK, their well’s running dry and they can’t eat him into a good position in the game. He flip flops between being too weak and too strong all while being annoying to play against.
Hm? What? There was a quality of life change too?
