Udyr needs a base skin model overhaul and a new skin, ik he has a low play rate but lux got an ultimate skin and like two skins per year since then and udyr hasn't gotten a new skin for like 4 years and only has 3 to begin with (one of which is good quality)
Udyr's ultimate skin was meant to be his skin VU for the most part. He wont be updated until he's actually changed up sadly.
Part of the problem is Udyr already has an ultimate skin. They would have to redo the visual effects.
Also, there are other champions due for visitation and games updates.
League still has to make money, so they're gonna focus on things that will yield results.
Just take Spirit Guard Udyr and make that his base skin.
They have to actually figure out how they want to change him first. They've simply just had an easier time figuring out which direction they wanna go with other champs, so those get released first. You don't want a rushed product that's just gonna end up needing further changes later.
I wish people would think for even a moment before asking such a thing.
Champions get neglected because people don't buy their skins. Whether that's related to popularity or not doesn't really matter. If you want Udyr skins made, you need to buy Udyr skins so they think making another skin for him is a worthwhile investment of their artists', designers', and programmers' time.
No offense.. but I completely, utterly, to-the-point-of-insanity despise that champion.
