Top lane the hardest lane to climb in low elo
I don’t understand how people climb as top lane, every game is a coin flip to see who has the fed bot laner, for me it more likely bot lane give up 10 kills in the first 10 mins.

mid lane is the only lane that matters.
Top relies on bot winning Bot relies on jg ganks Jg relies on mid pressure
I haven't seen a top laner that doesn't just play for his farm in the lane and then the entire community complains about it being an island.
Push the wave and leave the lane? Go exert some jungle pressure top side? Roam to mid? Teleport to bot for a gank? Do something productive for your team?
I understand there's a meta to the game but the entire reason G2 is G2 right now is because they're creative and willing to do something that the rest of the community might consider unorthodox.
Don't fall into the routine of just obeying the status quo.
Top lane is a coinflip lane where either first blood or champ select determines who snowballs out of control, all there is to it.
The secret appears to be hard counterpicking if you pick second, or picking a relatively safe (or very familiar) champion otherwise, then all you have to do is be better than your opponent and you win automatically. Understanding wave control and zoning is essential, you really want that first kill, or if not, that extra minion wave (which is worth about the same amount).
Since toplane is basically unimportant, once you get that lead, put it to use elsewhere. Pay attention to dragon, keep TP ready if you are using it, if you can gank, take a trip to mid or bot after forcing a back or kill and clearing wave.
The key part is being better, though. Most of the people with massive winrates top are smurfs abusing the fact most toplaners are trash juggernaut players with no mechanical skill and even less understanding of strategy.
It's really not, Top has some of the only champs who can truly "1v5" a match,
and probably
too against a immobile team comp, only other lane with more solo carrying champions is mid.
Wanna know what's it like having the game out of your control? try playing botlane and maybe you'll understand why it's such a polarizing lane, when you match 4 low elo people into a single lane with HUGE skill gaps between them.
I prefer carrying from top in low elo because I don't have to deal with constant 3-man gangbangs. Sometimes the enemy jungler even pretends I don't exist.
you can still climb with soraka this patch just do it
