Should I make a new account?

I’ve been playing league for a while now, and I’ve come to realize that the whole ranking system, especially in the lower elos is a mess. Every single game feels like a coin flip, and each game is based on who you get on your team, and if they decide to throw or not.

For example, had a guy on my team who one tricked Taric. Other team banned Taric, so he decided to intentionally feed the entire game as Ivern and run it down bot lane... Unlucky... right?

Another example.... Support asks me (the ADC) who I prefer to have as a support and I say “anything but pantheon”... support instalocks pantheon and trolls the entire game, running it down and baiting teammates to die....

Because of multiple games like these, my winrate has shot below 50%, (and is now around 46%), and naturally my MMR is in the toilet as well.

And I can’t do anything about it. Games like these don’t tilt me. I’m just consistently losing now because of my MMR.

Currently I have: 60W - 70L

Current Rank: Silver 4 - 22 LP

Many of you are probably thinking “he’s just bad, he’s an ADC and can’t carry.” The games where I have a normal team, nobody feeds, nobody trolls, I do carry. Very often in these “normal” or “troll free” games I go 25/4, 8/0, etc. Even in the “unlucky” games I go positive most of the time. The problem right now in my opinion, is that my MMR is degrading, and I’m losing these coinflipped games.

So my question is:

Is it even worth trying to climb and fix my MMR on this account anymore? What should I do? And Does it get better?

No, because another account is a lot of time and there's no way in which it would improve anything for you.

  • If the system's current estimate for you is wrong, that is fixed by putting in more games for it to estimate you with. A new account with less games of you won't help that.

  • If the system's current estimate for you is right, to fix it you would want to learn and improve. Taking time not doing that to grind out a new account won't help that.

  • If the system's current estimate for you isn't it and it is actually just trolls and bad luck making an unrepresentative record like you say, a new account is going to be leveled and then played with the same sort of people in the queue. A new account won't help because other people won't change from it. The way to fix that is to put more games on to dilute the impact of those troll games we all get.

not to mention that new account will not be able to get ranked higher in provisional than Iron 1 I think

Dude you are not the only one facing this problem .With you are a lot of the low elo players that blame their team ,all of you have to understand that carrying is possible and climbing is not difficult because of your teammates .You have to focus in getiing better on your own and playing chhampions that are easily able to carry and for you such adcs aree kai sa vayne draven this kind of adcs.As of making a new account yeah sure why not your mmr will be reset and do a fresh start.
