The easiest way to trigger someone in this game is through asking a question, or questioning what or why they did something. Least in my games. "Hey could you not roam right now, I'm getting dived. Or could you just back with me please?" "F U BI%^@! UR ON UR OWN" proceeds to take minions, ult me for no reason, never pressure enemies and eventually leave lane

Or

"Why didn't you kite or fight with me?" "FUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!1!!" intentionally feeds

Seems like when I have an issue in game with someone, it's typically because I asked a question, or questioned why on earth they'd do something. I could understand a reaction like that if I asked it in an offensive manner, or started cursing at them. But when I ask in a way that's just... Me asking... Why so mad? It makes me wonder how some of these people got through or are going through school? "I GOT ASKED A QUESTION IN MY TEXTBOOK!!!!!!" Destroys room

Asking "why" is passive-aggressive af. It sounds accusatory. They don't know why; they don't have a reason. They just didn't think to do the thing. Make a very short request instead:

"kite pls" "pls stay" "pls b w me" "pls fight w me" etc.

The shorter, less formal, and more abbreviated your messages are, the less accusatory and more friendly they seem. Don't ask why, it's just what I've noticed over the past couple of years.

asking a question like that even with good intentions tends to instantly put someone in a defensive position, and when someone's already on tilt it can get a negative reaction out of them (even if it doesn't, they're wasting time articulating why they made their mistake/why they did what they did when they could be focusing on the game)

obviously they shouldn't be negative but you never know so basically yeah unless you know them don't ask questions like that unless you have a fire extinguisher on hand

most things said in chat with a ? in them are known to instantly combust the entire chat and should be avoided
