that's fucked up my recommendation tab was flooded up with the plot twist of the last R&M episode it's only like been 3 days since it came out and there's hundreds of video ONLY about that part it was still a kickass episode but it would have been a thousand times better had I not alread known everything by just looking at a thumbnail and the first 2 words written Under it bummer

yeah I got the chrome extension to block youtube channels

filtered out people who spoil and all league highlight channels that just steal their content from other people's streams

youtube is much better now :)

... Because people take it to 100% Heart that you can literally watch it any time you god damn want so there's no reason to be behind on it? Unlike certain shows...

IMO any good plot is basically unspoilable. Sure you might be given a major plot point but unless the quality of the show/media is hinging incredibly hard on a specific plot twist for most of its oomph, no detail reveal should make you less interested in the story. Hell spoilers can sometimes get me more interested in going deeper into something, I know that was the case for Hunter x Hunter when I was just casually watching some videos and a youtuber namedropped some surprising moments from later in the story.

I know people really value that first viewing experience, but just because I learn a character dies or some twist happens shouldn't ruin the story, you still get to view the composition of the scenes and how the artists behind everything wanted to present it to you and you get to see the drama behind the moment even if the surprise factor is gone. If losing that single surprise ruins the story then the story was flawed to begin with.
