If the enemy takes note of you having a unique ward skin and later sees that ward be dropped from the fog of war they'll know it was you

They're no more pay to lose than anything else. Plus, most people have ward skins these days that even if you run the stock skin, it still won't match your allies' wards.

Good think I don't have to care about this in gold. Sometimes I feel like enemy would know it was me anyway since I am the only one warding in my team. :-D

Also the cute poro playing with arcade pad is definitely worth it.
